In a plastic production process, modifying and blending two polymers helps create polymers with enhanced performance and property when compared to either polymer alone. The common blending materials for alloy are PC/ABS, PA/ABS, and so forth. Two polymers, however, do not share the same structure, resulting in poor blend performance. Therefore, a compatibilizer is indispensable during the blending process, allowing resins which would not neatly blend together to mix with or adhere to each other.

GY-SM-20 plastic alloy compatibilizer provides superior compatibility and bondability between polymers and significantly improves the properties of composite materials.
