This GOYENCHEM-EFB Series of polymer is designed for manufacturing biodegradable plastic films with high mechanical strength, outstanding elongation properties and toughness but easily coloured.

Processing Conditions

GOYENCHEM-EFB Series can be processed on standard PE blown film equipment.

 

 

Specific Instructions

I. Temperature Needed 

GOYENCHEM-EFB Series is very sensitive to temperature during the film blowing process. Please be cautious of the temperature used during extrusion and film blowing.  As a reference, the film-blowing temperatures successfully used by the manufacturer are as followings

Remark: The temperatures mentioned above is based on machine: ¢45, processing index will   

                be adjusted if machine changes.

 

 

II. Machine needed

  • Screw L/D Ratio: L/D=24/32, in the reference of ¢45 single screw extruder
  • Suits upward blowing process
  • Precision Temperature Control : ±5°C
  • Filler installment: 120 mesh-120 mesh (two levels)from inside to outside

 

 

III. Remarks 

  • At the beginning of film blown process, pulling speed has to be slow because of the cooling effect. The pulling speed can be slowly increased after the film blown process, becomes stable, but maximum pulling speed shall not exceed 150r/min.
  • Blown bubble needs to be cooled by vane in time, but the temperature shouldn’t be too low.
  • Greater blow-up ratio is good for achieving sufficient tensility, which helps to improve strength. Stable pulling and cooling will be needed if film bubble is not stable.
  • The resin should be sealed up for storage. Storage in open area is prohibited. Water content should be controlled below 0.5%.
  • Fresh blown films are too dry and too brittle. Therefore, they shall be kept aside for at least 24 hours before bag making. After absorbing moisture naturally, Tensile Strength and Elongation at break of the film can be greatly improved.
  • The film shall be light yellowish, but temperature at the film dies shall be lowered in case the film produced becomes dark yellow.
  • GOYENCHEM-EFB Series should be housed under room temperature and avoid direct sunshine. GOYENCHEM-EFB Series must not be piled in open air warehouse and is forbidden to be stored with volatilized chemicals. In addition, it should be safe distance away from any heating source. Storage should be equipped with excellent fire and rat protection system, and kept clean, dry with well ventilation in a humidly free environment. This will ensure product longevity of said product.
