GOYENCHEM-ATG10 Anti-Glass Fiber Exposing Agent for Engineering Plastics

Floating fiber is a common problem that can be found during the process of glass fiber reinforced engineering plastic molding. The phenomenon of glass fiber exposure can be improved by adding GOYENCHEM-ATG10 which is an anti-glass fiber exposing agent developed by GYC GROUP. In addition, GOYENCHEM-ATG10 can improve the processing stability and coupling, and is suited for engineering plastics and composite materials for injection molding, extrusion molding, etc.

Description

Intro

GO YEN CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. (GYC GROUP) is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals in Asia. We devote ourselves to supplying products and solutions to our customers worldwide to satisfy and expand the market needs.

Adding glass fiber to engineering plastic during the producing process can significantly reinforce the material and improve its heat tolerance, modulus and so forth. Nylon is one of the particular engineering plastics where adding glass fiber is required to increase its physical and mechanical properties. However, floating fiber, also known as exposed fiber, often occurs in the molding process. During the molding process, the surface near the shear zone will cause difference of local viscosity of the plastic melt due to the elevated temperature where the glass fiber will readily separate from the melt and pile up constantly.
