Processing Conditions

1. For resin:

GOYENCHEM-FTW can be added into waterborne resin and solvent-free resin

 

2. For polyster and textile post treatment:

 

A. Processing Steps

• Flame retardant treatment for polyster treatment: Desizing should be done initially, and keep the fabric cleaned and wet
• The dipping method should be adjusted according to the basis, weight and structure of the fabric.
• 120℃~140℃×60 seconds
• Predrying 120℃~140℃×60 seconds

 

B. Heat Setting

Polyster	Stitch-bonded fabric	185℃~195℃ 40~60 sec.
Cotton	–	155℃ 4 minutes 165℃~170℃2~3 minutes

 

C. Final Step

Cool and coil. Use water to wash away the surplus flame retardant on the fabric surface if there’s any to improve the touch of the textile.

 

• The textile treated with the Nano flame retardant can reach an initial flame retardant effect. The information herein is provided based on the knowledge and experience of GYC GROUP. An initial testing should be conducted before the massive use in order to obtain the best processing condition.
• Heat setting at high temperatures is required for GOYENCHEM-FTW finishing. Choosing a proper dye for PET chemical fiber is necessary. Using C or D type disperse dye is being recommended by GYC GROUP.
• The information mentioned above is based on the actual cases and experience of GYC technology department. The processing condition and formula can be adjusted according to the actual condition.
