GYC’s Polytetramethylene-Ether-Glycol (PTG, PTMEG, PTMG) is an advanced ,innovative material. It is produced by the acid catalyzed polymerization of THF. It’s a linear polyether glycol with primary hydroxyl groups. The appearance of PTMG is clear, colorless, viscous liquid which is melted from white solid on a wide temperature range . PTMG reacts easily with isocyanates(MDI, TDI etc.) and can impart the characteristics of superb abrasion resistance, hydrolysis to a variety of polymers.
This material provides the end products with higher added value .
