Intro

Epoxy Resin is one kind of thermosetting polyepoxide also known as artificial resin or resin gum. It can be applied variously on painting, construction, ink, CCL, IC packaging, adhesion industries.

The advantages are easy processing, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, solvent resistance and insulated. In addition, the adhesiveness to mental, wood, glass, ceramic and electrical material are excellent so that it’s often used as substrate of complex material.      
It’s worth mentioning that epoxy is also an insulation of CCL (copper clad laminate) and packaging for semiconductor components. Additionally, there are many applications on epoxy resin coating for insulation and adhesion.

However, the functional group of epoxy, benzene ring and carbon- hydrogen in the epoxy resin has the disadvantage of burning easily.
