Description

Intro

IR（Infrared Ray）is the electromagnetic wave which the wavelength between the microwave and visible light . The wavelength is between 760 nanometer (nm) to 1millimeter (mm) and it is the non-visible light wavelength which is longer than red light. Then, it is the object covered at the room temperature which emitted thermal radiation of the band.
GO YEN CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. (GYC Group) technical development department based on this trend developed a new near-infrared absorber GY-IR500 which can effectively cover the infrared wavelength region while masking off the heat. Moreover, GY-IR500 can also mix in a variety of solid or liquid of polymers. Then, it can be used in the thermosetting resin and thermoplastic plastics, inks and coatings. GYC technology department recommend the dosage of GY-IR500 is 0.8%~1.5%，but customers and technicians can adjust the dosage in light of different application, requirements for infrared absorption and the recipes.
