Intro

Factory machines/equipment, constructions nearby sea, or nautical instrument are easily in harsh marine conditions exposed to extreme salt spray, which leads to surface corrosion on painted or baked enamel finished products. As a consequence, the equipment, components, constructions are damaged and corrupted fast and easily due to the temperature, humidity, oxygen, pollutants, and particularly sodium chloride. A long-term corrosion protection with salt spray resistance is an absolute necessity for agriculture, navigation, construction industry, manufacturing industry, etc.; hence several painted or baked enamel finished products are requested to meet salt spray testing. Salt spray testing is an accelerated corrosion test that produces a corrosive attack to coated samples in order to evaluate the suitability of the coating for use as a protective finish on hardware, elements, industrial equipment, electronic products, etc. The temperature, humidity, pH, and concentration of sodium chloride are clearly defined in the test.

(GYC GROUP) is designed mainly for coating, paint, baked enamel, thermosetting resins (polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, etc.), to provide which with outstanding corrosion protection when applied to metal surface, structures, and so forth. GY-SSR-10 features extremely fine particle size, excellent thermal stability and hydrophobicity, and remains great toughness and strength of end-products under a high temperature. GY-SSR-10 can increase mechanical strength and the added value of end-products.
