GY-FR-PC SERIES is an environmentally flame retardant which GYC group specially designed for polycarbonate PC. GY-FR-PC SERIES can increase widely application of PC resin, such as flame retardant building board, electrical supplies, optical lampshade, 3C products, electrical & electronic products, precision machinery, instrument product, automobile & locomotive components, lights, sporting goods, leisure & entertainment related products, various flame retardant plastic alloys, automotive & electronics and electrical appliances…..etc. GY-FR-PC SERIES provide the flame retardant properties for PC products and effectively improve the high value added of product.
The following is the result for GY-FR-PC used different proportions to add to the Germany Bayer PC. In addition to significantly improve flame retardant properties (Table 1) that shows the oxygen index LOI of specimen PC sheet improved obviously by adding the different proportions of GY-FR-PC.
Polycarbonate resin has excellent transparency, high heat resistance, high impact resistance, dimensional stability…etc. The PC board passed the UL94 test through GY-FR-PC which can meet the requirements of high flame retardant product about FOXCONN, NOKIA, SONY, IKEA electronic and building materials Original Design Manufacturer.
