Intro

GO YEN CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. (GYC GROUP) is a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals in Asia. We devote ourselves to supplying products and solutions to our customers worldwide to satisfy and expand the market needs.

Our planet is rich with chitin/chitosan, and chitin can be easily found in the shells of crustaceans, plants, and fungus; chitosan, this polysaccharide can be extracted from the shells of crustaceans. Chitin is a positive(electricity) substance, disrupts the living environment of bacteria and fungus effectively. It reduces fungus from breeding and reaches an anti-odor effect. Chitin is commonly used in textiles such as towels, clothes, and sleeping accommodation. It is worth mentioning that the amino groups of chitins are positively charged, and the negative charge of the bacteria will produce charge adsorption, causing shrinkage and cell membrane damage and resulting in the death of bacteria.

GY-ANTIBIOTIC-106 is a Chitin Antibiotic Agent for Natural Fiber. It has been sold to more than 10 countries, and it is the designated product by multiple world-renowned manufacturers. GY-ANTIBIOTIC-106 can be applied to the after-treatment of textile and woven fabric; has excellent compatibility with cation and anion. It also pairs well with a softening agent, GOYENCHEM-700/800 water repellent, and GY-MF-PU/GOYENCHEM-FT50 flame retardant simultaneously.

      Adding Rate

      Recommended adding rate: 4%

The technician may tweak the amount according to the material and the expected effect.

      Recommended Method of Application

      • The use of tenter is recommended, and the drying temperature should not exceed 165℃

      • High stability with acid and neutral processing environment; under pH value of >7.5, users may add 0.1-0.2% of acetic acid to solvent to improve the stability.

      • Utilize nonionic or cation auxiliaries if necessary; test in a small amount to evaluate the compatibility.

      • Do not pair with anion dye, fluorescent agent, surfactant, or alkaline substance. Dilute GY-ANTIBIOTIC-106 with water evenly then add the corresponding additives if using them is inevitable.

      • Pairing with GYC made flame retardant, water repellent, or softening agent is viable, but note that the antibiotic performance may be affected after pairing with water repellent.

      • Froze at 4℃, add lukewarm water (30℃) will dissolve and ready to be used.
